Furniture Removals and Storage

Insurance is an optional extra – the options are as follows:

1. Owners Risk/Owners Packed – no cover. No claims accepted for any losses, damages, breakages or shortages. This is the default option – this is what will be in place if no other option is taken.
2. Limited Transit Insurance – Cost $100 incl. GST, excess $100+GST. Cover for breakages only, this does not cover for denting scratching or tearing. Recommended if you are flatting or have older household goods. Only available within Auckland.
3. Comprehensive Insurance – Cost 1% of your nominated value within Auckland or 2% of your nominated value out of Auckland. Excess $250+GST. Maximum of $50,000.00 cover. Covers losses, breakages and damages.

Plants, owner packed goods, fish tanks, and mechanical faults are not covered by either option.
